telephone booth related movies

i wud like to know abt. movies were telephone booth has a role to play.
actually i am looking to find the name of a movie in wic i guess the story is somewat like below
2 guys find a phone booth.
in dis phone booth if u type 1971
the booth will land on a major historical event of the year.

i hav seen dis movie when i was very young. its an english movie. dats all i can recall.

help me in my search to find the answer.

Well there was a film titled Phone Booth, Phone Booth (2002)

but I think you are looking for either Bill & Teds Bogus Journey Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991)
or
Bill & Teds Excellent Adventures
"Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures" (1990)
