I saw it once in the late nineties and forget the title.
I think it's an american movie but i'm not sure.
Maybe someone remember?

A woman saw her husband killing his friend (he was linked to mafia and she didn't know that)
She get a shocked and run away from home and didn't want to return.
Her husband and his collateral decided that she is a dangerous for them and
hired a hitman to kill her. She tried to hide in some small hotel.
Hitman found her but instead of kill her he fell in love with her. So they had to escape together from her husband.

I remeber one scene: when they need money (hitman and wife) She pretend she is whore and hooked a man, they com to hotel and when man undressed hitman come in pretending her jealous husband and robed him.
And no one called police couse they didn't wont anybody knew they messed with whore

I saw Backtrack earlier this year, and I could almost swear that the scene
you refer to was in it as well. She had been staying in different hotels
alone, and then when the hitman found her they were staying in various hotels
together, and later some other man came in with her and was attacked. They
ended up (she and the hitman) on the run together after they had
started sleeping together.

Did the actress in your movie have dark hair? In Europe this movie is
called "Catchfire."

I saw Backtrack a week ago and I have this movie now.
And I also have "Direct hit" (similar synopsis)

Becide, actors are very defferent.
Hitman was more younger and woman wasn't obviously Jodie Foster. She has bright blond hair and short cut.
