Identify this movie, If you could

Okay, I remember seeing this movie when I was younger. The movie couldve been made anywhere from 1980-2000...

Details I remember:
-A woman trying to figure out who murdered I think two children.
-There was a cave, in which I think the bodies were burried nearby the house where I guess she lived
-The cave I think having drawings as if made by the children.
-At the end of the movie, the woman finally finds out what happened to the children & as the movie ends you hear the children laughing and playing as they finally are able to rest in peace knowing their killer has been caught or killed.

Please if you have any suggestions to which movie it may resemble...don't hesistate to answer.

It sound lik a spanish movie called "the orphanage" but that's more recent
