    I need helping find the name of a movie
    For weeks now this has been driving me nuts.

    There was a movie from many many years ago. I can't remember many details but I am hoping that maybe just someone can help trigger my memory.

    The few things I can remember are:

    Male Character's name was Dominic
    He was I believe Italian and from either NJ or NY
    He fell in love with a good girl, he was a bad boy
    I don't know that is was actually a musical but I do remember there being some dancing it.
    I think he always wore like leather pants and a leather jacket.

    Thanks to anyone who can help me figure this title out.. I know its not much to work off, I am sorry.

    Could it be "Baby It's You" (1983) starring Vincent Spano and Rosanna Arquette?
    IMDb synopsis:
    In 1966 New Jersey, Jill Rosen, a frustrated high schooler, is intrigued by an enigmatic new student known only as The Sheik. He is a youth of Italian stock whose primary interests are his car, Frank Sinatra, and Jill. At first, she is taken aback by his forwardness, but they soon develop a relationship, much to the chagrin of their parents. The Sheik gets expelled from school, and Jill is accepted at an all-girls college. After a fight, he goes to Florida to work in a club, lip-synching to Sinatra songs. He becomes dissatisfied and returns to New Jersey to try to win Jill's heart.
