I forgot what title of this movie is, please help?

I remember bits and pieces and can't quite put them all together to remember the title of the movie. Here is what I remember:

There was some type of disaster happening, but only a limited number of people could avoid it by paying for seats on some type of ship/boat located in China.
The main group of people included two families, one American and one Russian. The Russian family was rich and comprised of a very rich dad with his two sons and a girlfriend who owned a dog.
What this group did was take the Russian family's big airplane that contained very luxurious cars and fly to China where they could get on the boat to save their lives.
They had sneak onto the boat and as they did that, some type of tool got stuck in the boat's motor that was used to close the doors. So when all of the passengers got onto the boat and disaster was about to strike, the door would not close.
SO the father in the American family in the main group dove under water with his son while the ship was flooding to remove the object stuck in the ship's motor.

Can anybody help me find the title of this movie?
