film title of 80 s film

this is driving me crazy !! i watched a film some time in the late eighties think it was a foreign arty film where a girl meets a man on a train and they start up a weird relationship and moves inwith him , he was foreign and think she may have been as well but spoke english, think her name was nanu and thats all i remember , please can any one help . thanks

Was the movie subtitled most of the time even though the girl spoke English? And did the scene where she met the guy on the train involve him coming to her rescue because she had put a 'deposit' (as per the subtitles) into some guys bottle. So he drank the bottle contents to make the other guy go away.
If not, I'm on the wrong track, and hope someone else can try help.

yes this film was particially subtitled im unsure of the other details but remembered that it ended back on a train and either she left or he did , i remember the girl she had long blonde wavy hair just have no clue what her name is , this is driving me nuts so silly really lol do you have any idea what it is then ? thanks

I think it's a diffferent movie I'm thinking of. There would be a few train meeting movies around.
The movie I am thinking of, I couldn't say ended on a train. Maybe a train yard? I know the very last scene with the credits coming down the girl and guy were in water (a flooded area more like a construction site pit). They had either just had sex or she was bathing there, as she was buck naked. A phone rang, the girl waded over and answered it and started talking in English.
No, I don't know the name, but if it was the movie (or is) then it would give more to search on. I think it's different though so unless you can be sure of any of these details I probably can't help anymore.

thanks for your help its much apprechiated , i know its difficult with so little to go on , i need to try and find out the actresses name i can see her face but no clue of her name , dont really know why this is so important to me as it was years ago i watched this ! anyway thanks again xx
