Cartoon w/ a little lamb or ram & a wolf

Okm here's another favorite cartoon of mine from about 20 years ago that i cannot remember the name of. It's about a little ram or lamb...something cute and small whose fmaily gets killed by a wolf or some ferocious beast. I'm not sure if the very same beast trains him and then gets killed by him or if some other animal trains the young ram/lamb, but he eventually gets so much training that little horns begin to grow up out of the top of his head. Please help if you know anything guys. Thanks! God bless
