Can you help me with thename of this movie from 1960's about a killer tree

In it the husband thinks the tree looks like a woman and becomes obsesses with it and then his wife gets annoyed- somehow the tree kills the wife and when the man comes home the tree is in his bed waiting for him

Sounds like part of the 1973 British horror anthology Tales That Witness Madness.
