80s animation movie title

hello,
is there aaaanybody that could help me find the title of this one movie that`s been stuck in my mind since like forever? its around year 1980..

all i can remember is the movie`s about a boy and a girl, who were lovers, but both of them lived in a painting. i don`t know, somehow the two of them met, and ranaway together to escape from a horrifying man ( who lived in a castle i guess ) who wanted to marry this girl. There were also robots in this movie if i`m not mistaken..
anyways, its a happy ending movie, cause at the end, they were together, and got OUT of the paintings..
