Name on Mortgage Vs Names on Deed
I just received a mortgage commitment from my mortgage company, but ONLY on my name.
My wife wants to be sure her name appears on the Deed from the time of closing. Is this possible without disturbing the mortgage commitment or starting all over to look for a loan?

Go to the website for public records in your county and you can search by her name to see if it shows up associated with title. What state are you in? If it is a primary home in most states a spouse is required to be on title even if not on mortgage... it's not bad if she isn't though, you can get her put on deed.
