renter of foreclosure

I am a renter who is in a forclosed home, a realtor came by and offered cash for keys which I accepted to get out in 15 days, I signed contract then he handed me a 30 days notice for property, I would rather have the 30 days instead of the cash so my kids can finish school year here, can I cancel contract after I signed it??

No you cant cancel the contract after you signed it. You are stuck with it. You should have thought of your kids before you took the money to get out in l5 days. Can your kids stay anywhere to finish out the school year?

And with such a small amount of time left, just drive them to school from where you finally move.

Also there is a worry I have as to the legal standing of this realitor, is the home actually foreclosed yet, if it has not been foreclosed, and the orginal owner still owns it ????
