Some county court houses do have online searches but normally you will have to go in person to the county court house and check the recorder of deeds and also the tax office

You go to the city or county tax assessor's office (or web page, if they have one) and give them the address. They can tell you who owns the property and pays the taxes.

Another method is to go to the county clerk or county register's office and do your own title search.

Both methods are free.
