My family home has gone to sherrifs sale. We now have 6 months to redeem the loan. What are our options and what help is out there to save our home?

You wlll have to come up with the money, there is no real help beyond a loan ( which most likley will not happen) or finding a way to get the money.

You must act fast. There are many places to seek aid in foreclosures and how to stop them. You will have to come up with "some" money. Be very carefull about who you choose to work with and be sure to check the BBB. If you feel you have been wronged legitimately be sure to contact the Comptroller of Currency and check Rip Off Reports (google that) good luck, I am there or almost was and found help in time. Mine was a very crooked bank that simply did not want a mortgage for a manufactured home on their books anymore. Good Luck

I see law and associates listed here, DO NOT GO THERE. I contacted them one time and almost went there and have since been contacted by two attorneys about lawsuits against them. BEWARE!
