My husband has a manufactured home attached to a walk out basement on a 2 acre land. We are trying to refinance the house again, we got approved and appraiser came to our house but mortgage company asked me to verify that the house was built in 1998 and moved to its current location in 1999. I verified and confirmed that. Later on I received an email saying that "according to FHA loan regulations the house can not be moved and that kills the deal, my appologies! " I was very frustrated eventhough I tried to tell the guy it is not moveable he would not even reply to my emails... My husband bought this house when it as already brought in to this property. One of my friend told me that I might have to get an affidavit of affixture?? Where can I find out if there was any affidavit of affixture gotten before?? Can you please help I am very frustrated with this whole deal..The house solid can not be moved anywhere..
