divorce and possbile foreclosure

HELP....Where to begin....Friend is going through a nasty divorce.
1)Ex wife to be doesn't work, resides in the home with the children.
2) Ex Wife to be doesn't contribute to anything financial pertaining to the upkeep and maintaining the home (refuses to)
3) Even though Friend has moved mail to another address/PO Ex Wife has has stopped the mail or ordered it back to sender so that the friend isn't aware of pending issues like property taxes, or income taxes etc .
4) The home has been for sale for the past year, realtor has issues with the ex to be that she will not show the house, the house is not in order to be shown etc. (Had signed a document from realtor to show the house) (again refuses to)
5)The courts has issued that the friend pay the mortgage and child support to provide a roof over the childrens head.

Issues that have arisen since the separation friend has taken out a loan from 401K to pay for mortgage , has borrow money from friends etc to cover all the bills etc, now he is being garnished from his paycheck the return payment to the 401K, plus since he wasn't made aware about the property taxes they are now taking out garnishments for repayment on that as well, his paycheck has now been reduced by all these garnishments to under $70 a week to the point he can't make the mortgage. This will be the first time in years that he will not be able to make a mortgage payment and will succumb to foreclosure. He can not take out any more loans etc. Though foreclosure proceedings have not come it is eminent.
This friend has worked hard all his life to provide for his family etc and now at a time he wants closure in the marriage he is being hit from all sides. The question is what does he do, is there anyone out there companies, or what that can buy the house before foreclosure sets in and at least get him out financially gracefully and without penalty against him. And if not, if he is foreclosed upon how does he regain his credit etc? In forewarning his ex wife to be that the house will be foreclosed upon her response is that she will continue to stay in the house.

Sounds like he needs to file bankruptcy. Get the divorce settled. Start over.
I had to do the same. He also needs a lawyer before he gets found in contempt of court. The lawyer can help him make his case. Show that the ex- is thwarting his efforts intentionally and willfully on her part...

He needs a lawyer that is on his side and not obliging to the ex's lawyer.

I had to fire my first lawyer over $1500 too late... and well over a year and a half... of doing nothing on my behalf.... not even filing when I paid him to do so... said he used his professional judgement for successful resolution.... bunch of b.s.
