| Suggest you first determine if it is a monitor problem or a computer problem by swapping either monitor or computer for a known good unit. If the monitor is completely dead, no power, lights, etc., it's a monitor problem and can be repaired although it is probably not worth doing so if CRT type. You should be able to find another CRT type monitor for nothing or close to it. The last computer equipment surplus sale I was involved with, we couldn't give the 17+ inch CRT monitors away. |
