Trying to find my birth father.

Ok ive been trying for some time now to find my birth father.. and just feel like.. i cant do it anymore! I dont know have debit card to be using to buy these things online.. and my husband for some reason thinks sites that make you do it will scam him so he wont let me. So ive been trying for about a year now to find him. Its so hard!!
Heres all i know.. His name is Christopher or Chris Griffey... i really think it might be Chris he goes by and puts on everything.. from well how far i HAVE got on those sites that do cost as much as they let you know. ANYWAY he met my mom in louisville KY were she got pregnant with me and my twin brother Nathaniel. She tells me hes probably from Provo utah cause he went to church there and stuff MORMON church... and went to college as well there. (when doing one of those search that cost.. as much as they would let me know, i found one that was Chris Griffey 55, in provo utah and i really believe its him.. but i guess i wont know unless i pay anyway... he should be about 55.. i dont know his birthdate

I know he has a sister named Anita (who never wanted to meet us) and a Brother named Mark. He does have a daughter... but i dont know her name.. and its been 20 years so i dont know if hes married.. and had more children. my mom said we met him when we were 3.. but i dont remember.. and im 20 now. He has 2 grandchildren he doesnt know about my son Kole and my daughter Lydia.
ITs really so frestrating

trying so hard to find him.. when really shouldnt he want to be finding US!?

Have you tried these kinds of searches? Please click on them. There is a Chris Griffey in or from Provo, Utah in the first search. Each search is different, even though they have the same title.

for me though.. it says you have to pay when you click to see details.

i found a site.. where you have to pay.. where it shows 2 places he lived/lives to make sure its the right person before you pay.. and it says louisville KY and Provo Utah.. under Chris Griffey.. OMG I know thats him.. it has to be

Yes, you have to pay to have the details shown. But, at least you have a place, age, (usually a year older than they are right now), and other possible relatives. Or, even businesses that they have or in which they have been involved. From these facts you can glean much information as far as contacting someone.

If the phone number is not unlisted, then you type in the first and last name in a Google search followed by a comma, (or not) and the city (or town) followed by a comma and then the state. An address and phone number should then appear if they have been living in that place for awhile.

Another thing to try, is to see if there are any court records available online where your birth father is located. Many places have this information available online. Usually, they will also list a birth date for the person.

Kentucky Court Records

I didn't find anything for a Christopher Griffey in Jefferson County.

There is no specific site in Utah that I have been able to find for court records online without some sort of subscription.

By the way, I know that you have been using other sites in your search and haven't come up with anything. So, I know that this is a tough one for you and for anyone searching. I hope that you do find him.

But, I am curious as to why you want to find him? Were you set out for adoption?

No, my birth mother raised me.. he just.. after awhile stopped trying to see us.. writing and all that.. and she heard some stuff.. so she just felt we were better off and she stopped trying.. there was a letter i saw that he wrote to my brother because he was sick.. and at the end it said Love, dad. It really made me want to find him.
Most of all i really would like to meet the rest of my family.. or atleast know that i tried.. it would bring alot of closure to me either way.. even though if he didnt want anything to do with us.. it would hurt but id atleast know and stopped questioning it. My mom said some of the family might actually want to.. She knew his sister didnt though when she asked (when she was pregnant with us) if she ever wanted to see us.. she said no, but after years that might have changed.. maybe not.. i just.. really want a final answer i guess you could say lol
