looking for my ex

i need to find my ex to get a divorce. he lives in virginia and i live in california. We have been separated for almost 20 years, but now is the time to cut these ties and move on. i have tried contacting his family, but no one has heard from him. i have all of his information, but no good address to serve him. please advise

I recommend you put the whole issue in the hands of your legal advisors.

You can use any one of the free search engines to begin your journey. A Lot of them do list quite a bit of general information. If you are in need of immediate results, possible a private investigator is the way to go. Being that you have his personal information that would lend to actually locating him easier.

You need to talk to an attorney. There are ways to show that you have madde a good faith effort to serve him with divorce papers, even if you ultimately can't find him.
