Confederate air force/ Commemorative air force

Are Lefty Gardner and Lloyd Nolan still alive? If so where can I find good information on the start of the Confederate Air force on line. There is alot of info on the new Commemorative Air force, but very little on the old.

Re: Confederate air force/ Commemorative air force

Lloyd Nolan the actor was born in 1902 and died in 1985. He played mostly "good guy " roles. You can read about Lefty Gardner and his famous P-38, White Lightning at; http://ms101.mysearch.com/jsp/AVmain...=Lefty+Gardner Just click on this link or paste it up on your address bar. Regards, Tom

You can also find the information at the web site for the City of Harlingen, Texas, where the Confederate Air Force was located. I was born there, by the way.

Lloyd Nolen (not Nolan) passed away in 1991. Marvin "lefty" Gardner died on Dcember 24th, 2008.
