Surface area and volume of hexagonal prisms?

Could someone please tell me the formula for finding the volume and surface area of a hexagonal prism? My entire PROBE class is confused! Please help!Thanks!

Hey, yeah I'm also a seventh grader. And the formula is V=Bh. To get the area of the base you divide it into 6 triangles. Divide one of those triangles in half to make two right triangles and use the pythagorean theroem to get the last side. Then from there find the are of one right triangle and double it to get the area of one of the equilateral triangles. That area multiplied by 6 will get you the area of the base.

The volume of the hexagonal prism is 3ash=Ah.
(a)is the apothem (s)is the side (h) is the height

what is the area of the base of a hexagonal prism if the volume is 503 meters cubed and the height is 8 meters?

PLEASE HELP ME! The base of a prism is a regular hexagon that measures 4 cm on each side. The prism has a height of 14 cm. What is its volume? PLEASE HELP! Thanks!
