confused about what to do?

okay, so elementary school is behind me, and i had a small reputation and only a few friends. i really want to open up into the world, make lots of friends, and give myself a brand new reputation. i used to be known as "the clash queen". none of my outfits ever matched. the prob is i dont know how to match.
also, there r two types of detentions in the middle school im going to. one is during lunch which is the moderate detention, but the worse one is from 4:00 - 7:00. i hav to stay AFTER SCHOOL! im freakin out!

Why do you have to stay after school?- is it for activities?

As for matching, just remember to keep it simple. You can't go wrong that way. Don't mix prints. (There's a way to mix prints and still match but it's very tricky to pull it off.) So just remember to try to only wear prints/solid combo and you should be fine. Stick to simple color choices as well.

A. you don't get in trouble so you don't get detention.

B. Learn to coordinate.
Pick colors that go together and mix and match well.
I would go with earth tones, bright (cheery) colors and pastels.
Stay away from drab colors. I noticed that most people that do clash and don't know how to coordinate usually go for drab colors like drab browns, reds and grays.
Also don't mix too much fabric types.
Stay away from polyesters and knit type stuff unless it is a nice sweater.
Pick more solid colors that go together and stay away from stripes, plaids, flowers as much as possible.
Notice what others wear and what you never see them wearing and use that sort of as a guage.
You could also ask a best friend with good taste to go along school shopping with you too.
