CE1177 wireless weather station

The PC interface of my CE1177 weather station will not reset the rain gauge. The rain gauge on the unit resets ok but the information does not carry over to the computer. All other resets carry over ok. Re-installs do not solve the problem as this does not delete the previous memories. Has anyone else had this problem?
