Hi,
My name is Maria and I believe my sister is a cleptomaniac. She was arrested yesterday at a store for stealing magazines. My mom and I are very worried and alarm, we dont know what to do because she doesnt even want to talk about it. She is 20 years old and is a industrial engineering mayor. Since she was a little girl she would always have new things that nobody could explain where she got them from, we always thought she was saving her lunch money in school and that is how she got those things but now I'm not sure. The thing about this situation is that she doesn't need to steal because we are not rich but we are not poor either, we're a middle class family and everytime she asked for something my mother always found the way to get it for her. I am really worried about her and specially about my mom because she is sick and a problem like this could take her to the grave.
Please help me. I need to know if this has a treatment or what can we do. I dont want her in jail and if she doesnt get help I know that is exactly where she is headed.
