Father drivin me to suicidal thoughts

help!
my father hates me really badly. i try so hard to impress him,i earn good grades and i do the chores i even work so i wouldn't have to ask him for any money. Yet he finds every single flaw in me and always picks on me for it. He calls me the "", instead of ever callin me by my name. He tells me i'm worthless and i should just move out. He's always claiming that i'm an outsider and i don't belong in the family. i can never talk to him, because he'll either curse me out or make fun of me. every chance he gets he criticizes me and i'm so sick of it.i wish i cud just move out but i'm too young and i have no where to go. i wishh i was dead all the time and feel like a useless piece of . he calls me ugly, disgusting, stupid, and the worst thing thats ever happened to him. i'm a 17 year old girlll and i work my off and i never get one ounce of appreciation from anyone. he makes my litle siblings take advantage of me and just use me for everything they want. pleaseeeeee helpp me someone, i've never been more depressed or lonely in my entire life. no one loves me and i really feel like i should just kill myself.please help me.

Can you manage til you are 18 and then work at getting out of there? Ignore your dad he has issues with his own self and is taking it out on you.

Once you are out
you don't have to ever look back if you don't want to.

If you are working, talk to your local churches, they may know of a rooming house where you can't rent just a bedroom, these are usually cheaper, and most times you use the common living, bath, and dinning room. Go to your Court House and request to become a "Emancipated Minor". You already do everything else for yourself, do one more thing, protect your Mental Heath. You are not any of those things he says you are. I think with all your success it scares him and reminds him of everything he isn't. He probably is discouraged that you dont "need and rely" on him. Your independence is a threat to his masculinity. Fear makes people do strange things. You must look out for you, as it sounds like no one else is. Where's your mother? I don't remember reading about her. Go to the Church, their just may be a sweet widow lady who would treasure your company while providing you a safe haven. If your not under this type of stress you'll probably enjoy school more and do even better with everything you do. IF you don't want to live with an old lady, look for a mentor at school or a favorite aunt, it won't be for that long if your already 17. The courts are recognizing the benefits of "providing" all the time. It's getting quite common. Good Luck.

The last line is suppose to say the courts are recognizing the benefits of "emancipation" all the time. It's getting quite common. Good Luck

Please don't give legal advice without knowing where the OP is located - you are incorrect on several counts in many States.

I do not know your training or experience but I work in the system and emancipation can be very difficult unless the person requesting to be emancipated is employed, has been employed, is self sufficient and a high school graduate and has a place OF HER OWN to live in.

She is 17 and you have to have your parents sign to get emancipated as well as enough income to pay all bills and survive. Like if the OP has a 20 hr a wk job that pays $140. before (Probably even after) taxes the Judge will say she can't support herself.
Even if she could get emancipated she would probably be 18 by the time it all went through anyway.
She has to tough it out and work with the goal of getting out on her own asap.

JudyKayTee agrees: Right, as usual. It's not as simple as it might sound.
