is this a STD?

last week when i was in the shower i notice some white spots on my penis and it scared the daylight out of me. but i feel normal and when ever i use the restroom i never had any burning pain or anything like that. so i was woundering what can it be. it has white spots on my penis and thats about it nothing else is wrong. i dont have trouble urinating or any burning sensation. what can it be???

Hi Caliboy,

White spots on the penis are very common. Most are not harmful to you or your partner.

However my advice would be to get them checked out as some can be harmful.

The odds are that you have some harmless papules which have appeared but I am sure you will agree it is better to get this confirmed by your doctor.
