red pimple on Scrotum

my friend has a red pimple on his scrotum and it burns him is it something that he has to be worried about, and is there anything he could do to heal it and make it stop hurting?

It could be a yeast infection. My little boy just had that. He can buy some yeast cream and try, If it goes away in a few days that was probably it. The cream won't hurt him if it is not it.
