    Pain between anus and scrotum
    I'm 22 years old, about 4 months ago I started feeling this sharp pain between my testicles and anus. It lasts for a few seconds then goes away. It is painful and when it hits me I can't do anything other than just stop what I'm doing at the time and crouch.

    Please Help

    This area, commonly referred to as the slang word, "Taint", is actually "the perineum".

    It sounds like it can be Prostatitis.

    Here is a list of Prostatitis symptoms provided by the Mayo Clinic.

    A couple of points to keep in mind, the reasons for it vary, the symptoms vary, sometimes it is brought on by bacteria, sometimes not.
