Ok, so I'm 22 and for the last month or so ive had bumps on the top of the shaft under the head. They're only on the left side, only show up when i have an erection (not all the time) and go away when i'm flaccid. sometimes there is more and it feels like lining of some sort. I'm starting to worry.

Nothing to worry about. Probably sebaceous cysts. Simply put, oil trapped under the skin.

This is normal for many men.

But to be sure, have it checked out by your doctor. Make sure it is a man to lessen embarassment.

I'm not sure if that's it. From what I've read it seems like sclerosing lymphangitis or possibly cancer, though I've never heard of a tumor that could vanish at certain times. Now it won't go away even when flaccid and hurts to touch. I've made an appointment (took a female doctor, embarrassingly, as she was the last available person before the weekend)

my boyfriend has the same thing but there only on the top of his penis under his head, and he says that their sensitive and feel really good when touched.. i doubt its cancer dude its fairly common and he's had them forever, its just either the oil trapped under the skin or its a trait that you get when born

oh thank GOD!!!i am only 14 years old and wouldnt say i take a shower all the time,but i take one every 2 days,i dont wash my "personal parts" a whole lot cause i've figured"why wash it?its going to get all sweaty and greasy and nasty smelling anyways" not that i stick my hand down there and mix my up or anything,cause that kinda thing is disgusting.but now that i know that,i am releaved,my doctor said the same thing,but i didnt really believe him cause i just think doctors try and make you comeback over and over and over for the same thing and they say the same thing when in reality it gets worse,but now that ive read that i feel a whole lot better
