bump on penis

ok, I've been trying to figure out what this is. For like the past 3 or 4 years, I have had one single little bump on my shaft, it almost looks like a pimple. I'm just trying to figure out what is. should i go to the doctor and get this checked out?

Ok just about 2 days ago it i just noticed this same problem i have a bump on the side of my shaft around the size of a pee i am extrememly worried and dont know what to do it only hurts if pressure is aplied i tried to pop it once and puss came out now all that happens is blood comes out please help me!!

holy crap, ive had the same thing(not the cyst u just described, but the decription of the thread owner) for the past four years, when u pull it up with the skin it feels rly hard right and if u pinch it it hurts. i have been curious abt it for a long time, but i didnt want to go to my parents, so im just gonna wait a couple months til im 18 then ill just go to the doctor. i rly want to know what it is now that i know other people want to know.

I have a very similar problem.
Mixed down with the hairs on my balls, theres a white pimple-esque thing.
As I read I assumed it was a hair follicle, but I wouldn't be surprised if it could be more.
I'm 16 and trying very hard to keep parents out of this, so if someone here has a pic of this, it would help me out a lot.

DUDE!!! I have the sam problem... just a few minutes ago i noticed it, so i serched the web to find out wut it is! It was in the middle of the shaft, i was scared, so i umm poped it then white stuff came out then a little bit of blood, but there is still a bump there. HELP PLEASE!! I am 16 years old, and i really dnt want my parents to know either

i have this bump on mine but i dont know what it is
i squeezed it and white stuff like whats inside a pimple came out
is that normal or do i need medical attention

OMG ME TO.. I'm having that RIGHT NOW!!!!... yea my girl friend ask me in a very careful way what it was. she thought it was contagious so we haven't done anything for about 1 to 2 weeks. i was thinking if i should see a doctor or not, but i guess my question is solved... mines exactly like your.. in the middle... thanks for this topic it was very helpful.

Well it could be a number of different health and skin conditions it may be an std but if it's been there for years it's probably something like a syst or something.

I am experiencing this same problem so I will give as much detail as I can in hopes that somebody could have an answer.

I first noticed it 5 years ago, I had 3 come at the same time after sleeping with a "loose" woman. I Showed it to doctor at local health dept. and they said it was probably a pimple and not to mess with it.

I didn't have any more for a year or so.

Then they came back during a period when I was working outdoors (sweaty), but just one here and there.

Now this past year I have had at least 8 occurrences. So I pretty much have one all the time. Changes in my lifestyle that I believe could have an influence on this are:

1. I am working outdoors in a tropical climate.
2. I am in a developing country where proper hygiene is poor and the body fights off a lot more bacteria and germs.
3. I have a new partner with which I ejaculate inside of frequently.

I visited a disease specialist and he said that it appeared to be a kind of staph infection in the follicle caused by shaving and/or sweating.

So two doctors have seen the bumps and this is the answers I received. Yet, I just feel there is something else going on. It just doesn't seem normal to me. If anyone happens to come upon a definite answer, then please fill the rest of us in.

I had a similar problem.
A lump, pretty much at the end of my shaft, and start of my penis head, slightly to the left.
I had it for around 4 months, went to the doctors, but i couldnt retract my foreskin that far.
So she said it is probably a gland.
I noticed yesterday before having sex, it was completely gone.
