What does it mean when a man has blood in his stools?

It is light red color.

if its a light red its really nothing to worry about. But did it hurt when you noticed the blood? what i mean is did it feel like you had a scab that was pulled on until ripped open? if thats the case then its most likely anal tearing. i noticed some real light blood in the toilet with my stool and it felt as though i had a few scabs around my anus that were pulled apart. i went to the doctor and they confirmed that thats what it was. but it might not be the case with you. but yes deff go to the doctor.
