any ideas what this is/could be?

over the last say 5 days or so my man has noticed a change in his "man parts" (his words....lol)
basically, the tip of his penis has kind of flakey skin kind of like sunburn when it peels.
it started all of a sudden,he has no pain at all,he said its more tender than painful. everything is working as it should.
he is going back to the doctor next week, but for the meantime does anyone know what this could be? could it have anything to do with the meds he has been taking? (thats probably a dumb question..) http://www.askmehelpdesk.com/mens-he...ect-91304.html the meds he was on is in this thread.
he keeps himself clean, showers daily, and he has never had this before.

Scented or antibacterial soaps. (Consider hypoallergenic or acidic candida soaps)
Men go through phases of itching, rashes, and the flaking skin. It's quite normal, but really clean guys seem better at it.
Make sure underwear is washed in hot water. Keep socks in a different hamper. Boxer shorts are best worn. and If i can think of anymore.....oh yes, I like to use a medicated powder after showering.
It's also possible it's yeast, or condom friction. Avoid putting any creams on till the doc sees him. Good luck!
Gotta protect those man parts!!!!! lol
