    Songs with meaningful lyrics
Could you suggest me, please, some artists that have great songs (that both sound good and have meaningful lyrics) ? It doesn't matter what kind of music they play, I'm just looking for some songs that cherish love, beauty, inspiration, motivation, joy etc. Anything that is good in our lives.

Marilyn Manson has a lot, so here is a few good ones.

    Man that you fear
    Minute of decay
    Coma White
Speed of Pain you must listen to this one.

Apocalyptica feat w/Corey Taylor. "I'm Not Jesus"

    Pearl Jam': Better Man, Black.

Phil Collins: In The Air Tonight

Shinedown: Save Me, it's about Heroin addiction

    Hatebreed: Perseverance

And the German band "Rammstein" has some of the most meaningful songs out there. Look up the translations cause it's surprisingly deep and well written.

Try "Ohne Dich" aka " Without You" a very sad and beautiful song about life without his partner

Or the song "Mutter" aka "Mother" touches on how a human clone would feel being born in a lab, without the love of a mother.

Many may be surprised that Pink Floyd is a contender here.

For love songs, you may be surprised, try David Gilmour's album "On an Island", here is a link to all the lyrics:

On An Island Lyrics (David Gilmour Solo Album) - All Pink Floyd Fan Network

    The title song,

Lyrics to On An Island :(Gilmour/Gilmour - Samson)

    Remember that night...
    White sails in the moonlight
    They walked it too...
Through empty playground, this ghost's town
Children again on rusting swings getting higher
    Sharing a dream
On an Island... it felt right
    We lay side by side,
Between the moon and the tide
Mapping the stars for a while
    Let the night surround you
We're half way to the stars,
    Ebb and flow
Let it grow... feel the warmth beside you

    Remember that night,
    The warmth and the laughter
    Candles burn...
    Though the church was deserted
At dawn we went down through empty streets to the harbour
Dreamers may leave... but we're here everafter...
    Da da da da da...
    Let the night surround you
We're half way to the stars,
    Ebb and flow
Let it grow... feel the warmth beside you...
    (Gilmour/Gilmour - Samson)

    Remember that night...
    White sails in the moonlight
    They walked it too...
Through empty playground, this ghost's town
Children again on rusting swings getting higher

For inspirational, I believe this is one of the best out there by Pink Floyd's "A Momentary Lapse of Reason ":

    On the turning away

    On the turning away
    from the pale and downtrodden
    and the words they say
    which we won't understand
    " don't accept that what's happening
is just a case of others' suffering
or you'll find that you're joining in
    the turning away"

    It's a sin that somehow
    light is changing to shadow
    and casting it's shroud
    over all we have known
unaware how the ranks have grown
driven on by a heart of stone
we could find that we're all alone
in the dream of the proud

On the wings of the night
    as the daytime is stirring
    where the speechless unite
    in a silent accord
using words you will find are strange
and mesmerised as they light the flame
feel the new wind of change
on the wings of the night

    No more turning away
from the weak and the weary
    no more turning away
    from the coldness inside
just a world that we all must share
it's not enough just to stand and stare
is it only a dream that there'll be
    no more turning away?
