Occupationally, I hold an A.S.S. in Medical Office Management and I've worked in the field for 12 years doing everything from clinical patient care to clerical management. I am certified in First Aid, Child/Adult/Infant CPR, and AED Essentials. I've worked in every area of the hospital from H.R., billing, Radiology, Oncology, Surgical, OB/GYN, Peds, Pharmacy, etc.
In my free time, I make and sell beaded jewelry at craft fairs and within my online shop.
Personally:
I'm 29, a 10 year ovarian cancer survivor, and a newlywed (June '07). Unfortunately, I had a miscarriage around Thanksgiving `06 while on BCP, but I generally think of myself as a survivor and I believe we learn as we go on with life. Because of these experiences, I know a thing or two about cancer, women's health, and weddings on a budget ;-)
My husband and I live in one of the northern states with our adopted shelter puppy.
I started a support group for women/families dealing with ovarian cancer, but anyone is welcome to join at:

Currently, I'm pregnant with our first child (due January 21, 2009!!), pursuing the possibility of a second degree, and looking to buy a new home.
