Well as far as medical experience goes, I have none and no training. I have watched the Discovery Health Channel a few times, does that count? ;-) I have in all seriousness seen alot though. Since I was just a kid, my mother has been battling manic depression (bipolar disorder) which I now suffer from. She's also been a major alcoholic and drug user for as long as I can remember. I basically raised my younger brothers. My father has never been there (him living in Ohio and me living in Florida all my life.) I've forgiven both of them for the terrible childhood that my brothers and myself have endured. I'm the only one (of six) children that talk to my mother. Anyhow, I wanted to join this website to ask questions, share my experience with these hard times with my disorder and help in anyway I can. Like my signature says, the heart is a terrible thing to waste. I only know this because my entire life mine has been wasted with no family or friends to share it with. If you have any questions you can ask someone who's been through alot and make a new friend in the process. :D
