How do i find top dead... Gardening & Plants Jul 4, 2007 09:37 AM YOU DO NOT SET ON INTAKE OR EXHAUST STROKE, YOU SET ON COMPRESSION STROKE, BOTH VALVES CLOSED, AND TURN FLYWHEEL 1/4" PAST TDC. AS FOR SHEARING FLYWHEEL KEYS EVERYTIME YOU REPLACE THEM, TORQUE OF NUT IS INCORRECT.
