LocationIndiana ExperienceI am employeed at a veterinarians office full-time as a vet tech including surgical/dental assistant, teach puppy/kitten classes, obedience, provide behavioral sessions in-clinic and in-home training, nutrition, and have attended classes at the Chi Institute in Florida where I learned basics of TCVM (Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine). TCVM includes acupuncture, Tui-Na, Five Elemental Theory, Food Therapy and Herbals. The veterinarian I work for has also completed Chiropractic training and am learning the fundementals of this modality.
I attend monthly continuing education seminars, subscribe and read several veterinary journals, and meet monthly with several representatives of the products we use and recommend. Even some we don't so that I can stand current.
I have owned dogs, cats, lizards, snakes, frogs, large insects, fish, horses, swine, rabbits, goats, chickens and many small & fuzzies. All this before and after running an animal shelter for almost 6 yrs, where I learned invaluable lessons on behavioral issues, and typing dog breeds.
I currently share my home with my husband, 2 boys, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a horse (not in my home actually.) Mini BioVeterinarian Staff

The advice I give is based on my current professional veterinary employment the medical information provided is an accumulation of continued education, training and experiance. I am not a veterinarian and always recommend checking with your own pets' veterinarian prior to making any changes. If this post was helpful in anyway let me know! Thank you
