Taking ambien 10mg at 9pm to sleep. Need to take Xanax for anxiety in the am
My aunty has been taking Ambien for the last 5 days to help her sleep. The Ambien is 10mg and she takes it at 9:00pm. It has helped her sleep. She now wants to take Xanax for severe anxiety. She wants to know if she takes it in the morning with breakfast - the Xanax is 0.5mg.

She is afraid to take it because she thinks it will react with the Ambien but I think that the 2 medications are far apart to react with one another.

Aunty is visiting from overseas and doesn't have a regular MD. She wants a 2nd opinion about these two medications.

    Thank you very much.
