| In my experience, diarrhea and/or gas are not the most common side effects of this medication, but diarrhea is listed in the PDR as a common side effect. And remember, you can attribute almost any side effect to almost any medication.
You don't have celiac sprue do you? I've had a few patients develop diarrhea and gas secondary to the gluten used in some of the binders of some medications.
