Levaquin use

I've been having muscle cramps throughout my body at any given time. I could easily get a cramp on my little finger just as I get one in my back for no apparent reason. I was prescribed Levaquin twice last year for sinus infections. Is it possible I'm having side affects from using it? If not, what could the cause be?

How old are you?

As far as side effects now, I would say no. While taking the medication yes.

As far as cramps or soreness in different areas of the body. It does happen.

I would not be concerned about it because it sounds normal. If your concerned about it and think you have a problem that no one else has in this world then maybe you should see a doctor and get his/her opinion.

We all have cramps we all have aches. It is part of human life.

Joe

There is currently a large amount of debate about this issue, and opinions are strongly divided. Though I tend to lean very strongly toward alternative forms of medicine anyhow, nevertheless this is one class of medication I refuse to take, even when they have been prescribed to me.
I would though very much be interested in others experiences or opinions.
Here is some of the more dissenting reviews on the drug:

Victim of a Quinolone Antibiotic? Cipro, Floxin, Levaquin etc (Side Effects, Adverse Reaction)

Certainly can't say for sure though.
Take care.
