I have just started taking Lamictal (as in I started taking 25mg last night!) as I have not had luck with other medications. My doctor told me my other options were Lithium, Depakte and Topamax. After reading the side effects of the others, I chose Lamictal. Not I am a bit paranoid about getting the horrible rash that could possibly cause me to die! Can anyone on here please let me know what their experience has been with Lamictal and what I should be on the look out for in terms of this rash? Even though I only started taking it last night, I am feeling SUPER itchy today. Is it possible to get this effect after only one dose???
