need to know an information on glatiramer injection

I am having an epideral injection today at 3pm, I am being sedated I was told not to eat or drink anything after 8am - I was thirsty because of how warm it is and ate a piece of gum - but I accidently swallowed my gum - will this hurt me?

I've been on the injection for 5 years. I'm a month late in getting my injection and I have not got my period yet. I have mild stomach pains and i'v had them for 2 weeks now. Is that normal?
