    Flexeril drug duration
I have been on flexeril or the generic for a couple years. Every time I miss a dose or wait to long to get it refilled I have the terrible affects from it. How long does this drug stay in your system before these feelings go away?

You have side effects from Flexeril when you go off Flexeril, not when you're taking it?

    This makes no sense.

Isn't Flexeril a NSAID? I didn't think they had withdrawl effects.

They used to put me on it all the time for my knees in the Army. I never felt anything.

I think it's a muscle relaxant and I think it's somewhat addicting. On the other hand I didn't understand (and gave the wrong answer) to the original question so it's anybody's guess!

Flexeril is an NSAID, but a very strong one... It can cause unwanted side effects as well as withdrawal type symptoms.

Huh - never knew that. Army just gave me a big bottle and said "take some and go away"... so I did. :)
