A few of my elderly clients who cant drink cranberry juice for one reason or another, some because it is acidic, take the tablets and I am so glad that there is an alternative to stave of UTIs this way. None report adverse side effects. It is just another way of dealing with a problem encountered by many women.
alka, yes we do know that the poster is asking about UTIs cause she said that.
Yes, but she didnt say she couldnt drink cranberry juice...you assumed she couldn't. cranberry juice is more effective than the pills are..

Not all juies are this way, but you are right a lot are, you just need to do some research. Northland cranberry juice is good, and you can get the blended kind so it tastes better, and it will still work fine. another brand is Ocean Spray, but make sure you look for the 100% cranberry juice variety.
you are right, alka, I did assume but then so many of my female clients cant drink the juice but I do like oceanspray myself. Some women are prone to constant UTIs they live on cranberry juice like oj in the morning.
When the alternate pill came out everyone jumped on it.
