Can medicine like abilify and welbutrin make you dumber?(cognitive impairment)
Can medicine like abilify and welbutrin make you dumber?

Since they're supposed to change brain signals to control mood or something

Is it possible that they make you dumber?
    Like a decrease in intellect

Or otherwise stunt growth? Reproductive growth/height/ w/e

Does it matter if it was taken at a pivotal age?
    Like 11-12-13

One of the side effects of abilify is that it can potentially cause cognitive and motor skill impairment

I think that happened to me!

And welbutrin is not recommended for pediatrics
There must be a reason for this, like children/adolescents are still growing!

I took abilify and didn't have any mental negatice effects. It did make me gain a lot of weight though. I suggest you call the doctor that prescribed it to you. FInd out your dosage, a lot of these sideeffects are available online.

You should when you get the medication get a very detailed sheet that tells ou of all the side effects and other problems it can cuase. The most important thing is to be truthful with the doctor of any and all other problems.

Welbutrin as a quit smoking aid? [ 2 Answers ]

Hi everyone! I have tried to quit smoking on and off for the last couple of years I have went cold turkey, used the patch and tried the commit lozenges.
