Weird "down there"

Ok, I've only been with 2 people ever and I was checked after having been with both of them so I don't think this is STD. At least, I'm hoping its not. Anyway, I've got this pain "down there", especially after sex. And it's been itching a lot. I thought I had a yeast infection not too long ago and I got some medication for it, but I didn't finish taking the medicine because the itching cleared up. I'm really not sure what's going on. I'm going to see a doctor soon, but I was just wondering if someone on here could give me a heads up as to what to expect???

You need to finish the meds for your yeast infection.
You also could be allergic to certain condoms.
If you are having unprotected sex ,well then it could be any number of things.
There is a reason why you are supposed to take the FULL COURSE of your medicine.
I suspect your yeast infection is back.

Well I've never in my life had unprotected sex. I've tried to be safe there. So you really think it's just the yeast infection again? How do you prevent those? (Besides of course taking the full course of medication)
