    Hep c, bloody stools, coughing blood, nose bleeds oftern. Swollen abdmon
    My dad has hep c. he won't stop drinking, and won't go to the dr because they won't do anything until he does. He has bloody stools, coughing up blood,and nose bleeds often. His abdmon is also very swollena? What do I do, what stage of the disease is he in?

    Hard to tell what stage his liver in in. How long has he had Hep C? We can't diagnose any condition here, not knowing the complete history of someone as you can appreciate, but if he has had hep C for at least 20 years and always drank, then the chances from your description, especially swollen abdomen that his liver is severely damaged.
