Forehead grow a small tumor

My forehead grow a small tumor like a pimple but it is not pain and some time will become bigger like a peanut size. It already more than 2 months and not disappear or blow.
Doctor say if not disappear by itself, then need to surgery if want it to be removed. Doctor gave me a Bactronban cream, at 1st look reduce the size but now already 3 weeks it still the same. Please advise what to do..Thanks.
