Trendelnburg Position

Dear Sir

To treate the patient suffering from Hypotension Trendelnburg position is used. I would like to know the exact defination for the Trendelnburg position and also like to know is it enough 1) If leg and hip are raised and back rest remains flat or 2) Back rest should also go down? please clarify.
