    My tonsils: a perculiar observation!
This is going to sound very odd but my tonsils have lumps/bumps and even holes in them. (I guess that's not too weird and wonderful as docotrs have seen them and don't seem worried) However they produce a white solid from the holes.

It's about the consistancy of a small chewed piece of bread (that's just for reference- it's absolutely NOT food) and it smells like bad breath

It's not all the time, but if I contract the muscles in my throat I can make them produce said white stuff!

It's not puss, and I'm not in pain, so I'm really puzzled as to what it is, and if it's normal. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this before?

    Hey!

Those are what is commonly called tonsilar stones... I forget the medical terminolgy for them... but you can Google them and read all about them.
They do cause bad breath and are basically caused by food and saliva getting stuck in the tonsilar crypts "holes" in your toncils.
It usually isn't harmful... but it can cause bad breath. The only permanent fix is to have your toncils taken out...
You can clean the stones out with a water pick or something like that.
    Hope this helps!

    Good luck!
