Tiny Itchy Bumps On Chest

About a week ago, I was eating dinner with my boyfriend and I had flounder, he had a piece too. About 5 minutes after I finished eating my chest was really itchy, just in a small spot and just for a couple of seconds. So naturally, I scratched it. I woke up the next morning and I had about 6 very red, a little painful, and sometimes itchy, bumps.

They are smaller than pimples, but a little bigger than flea bites (I know this because I have had those on my ankle last year). I try not to scratch them and I do not think it is spreading, but it is definitely not getting better. If my shirt rubs it, it hurts and then it itches. What can this be from? Should i try any over the counter anti itch creams or should i get a diagnosis first?
Thank you

It is most likely an allergy. If it suddenly happened right after you ate the fish it could be the fish or an ingredient they used in preparing it. MSG is in many foods and spices and some people can have different reactions to it.
You could ask the restaurant (I am assuming that is where you ate) for all the ingredients and do a process of elimination. You can use a cream on it but if it persists or worsens go to the doctors.
